Terms of Service
Welcome to RecallX. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and RecallX (“we”, “our”, or “us”) regarding your use of the RecallX mobile application and related web services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using RecallX, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Educational & Productivity Purpose
RecallX is an educational productivity tool designed to help users organize study schedules, apply spaced repetition intervals, and manage focus sessions. RecallX is an independent learning assistant and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any academic testing board or medical authority.
3. Accounts and Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities occurring under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate and truthful information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access at spacedrevisionteam@gmail.com.
4. In-App Subscriptions & Billing Terms
RecallX offers auto-renewable Premium subscriptions (including Monthly and Yearly plans) unlocking advanced features such as Focus Shield app blocking, unlimited topic creation, and cloud sync.
- Store-Managed Billing: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in the applicable App Store or Google Play subscription settings before the next renewal. Billing, renewal timing, cancellation, and refunds are governed by the store through which you subscribed.
- Subscription Management: You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime directly in your device account settings:
• Apple: iOS Settings > [Your Apple Account] > Subscriptions > RecallX > Cancel.
• Google Play: Google Play Store > Profile > Payments & Subscriptions > Subscriptions > Cancel. - Refunds: Refund requests are processed directly by Apple or Google under their respective store policies.
- Restore Purchases: Sign in to the same RecallX account associated with your purchase, and use Restore Purchases while signed in to the same App Store or Google Play account used for the subscription. If access is not restored, contact RecallX Support.
5. Standard End User License Agreement (EULA)
For users downloading RecallX via the Apple App Store, this agreement incorporates Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). You can review Apple’s standard terms at: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.
6. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Actions
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or proprietary algorithms of RecallX.
- Use automated bots, scrapers, or exploits to access or manipulate cloud sync endpoints or leaderboard data.
- Attempt to bypass in-app purchase verification, entitlement controls, or security rules.
- Upload abusive, defamatory, or unlawful content in study notes or community study buddy features.
7. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, visual assets, software architecture, and interface designs in RecallX are the intellectual property of the RecallX Team. You retain ownership of your original study notes and personal flashcard text.
8. Account Termination & Deletion
You may terminate your account at any time directly within the app (Settings > Delete Account) or by visiting our Account Deletion Portal. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
RecallX is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service.
10. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of RecallX following any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
